"The place was great for visiting NY to see the Christmas lights and shows. Took public transportation from Newark airport which dropped us off at North Elizabeth station & we walked from there. Choice between bus & rail to get to New York City - bus stop was closer. Allow time for traffic especially if you have show tickets on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. "Our stay was very nice. We felt safe in the house because of the off street parking, and multiple locked doors. The stairs up to the room were a little tricky to use. The neighborhood made me feel a little weary, but the street this listing was on felt safer than the others. Overall, the place served our purpose for our stay, and it was enjoyable and homey."

"We highly recommend this property for anyone who needs to be in the area for more than a couple days, which was our case. We arrived during a heat wave, but the central air conditioning cooled beautifully. When the weather cooled down, we made use of the large balcony, both in the mornings and evenings. "The best host ever! Have never stayed in a place with such a helpful, caring and responsive host! Sherry is amazing. And this home is perfect. Everything that you need. Close to great coffee shops, restaurants, things to do, Whole Foods walking distance. We stayed for 2 weeks and loved every minute even though this was a recuperation and recovery time for us. Great area, great host, great VRBO! Will stay again on next visit!"
