  • Unwind in Scotch Plains at this enchanting apartment. This cozy retreat features 2 welcoming bedrooms with queen beds, a lovely bathroom with a bathtub, and an additional living space with a comfy sofa bed and a kitchen area. Guests can enjoy amenities like WiFi, AC, and heating during their stay.
    The wonderful, spacious apartment is a 30 min train ride from NYC, a short ride from Newark airport [EWR] and JFK airport in NYC. Kickback, relax and enjoy everything in NJ and NY and our apartment has to offer. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families with kids. All people are welcome! Just friendly reminder that your apartment is on frist floor of the house. There will be at most two hosts living on the top floor, but guests will be given complete privacy and should rarely run into hosts unless help is needed.

Place was exactly what we needed. We were in town for a hockey camp, so we just needed somewhere to basically sleep. Our first VRBO got cancelled and I’m taking it as a blessing in disguise because this place was great!

Great Backyard

If you have a dog it is very convenient. My grandchildren enjoyed the backyard, as well. Amy was very sweet and responsive.

Buyer Beware

My employees had a job in Scotch Plains and booked this place for one night—just to shower and sleep after working all day in 100 heat. They returned to a hot basement apartment with no working shower or AC, so they left.I reached out to the owner afterward and was met with zero accountability—just blame for not calling her in the moment. The reality is, the space was unlivable, and my team had no interest in sitting around sweating while trying to fix basic amenities that should have been working in the first place.The listing makes no mention that this is a basement unit where you hear every step from the floor above. And instead of addressing the actual issue, the host deflected any responsibility and offered no resolution.I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere. If something goes wrong during your stay, don’t expect support or ownership—just excuses.

When I arrived, the apartment was spotless. The host showed me where the thermostat was, so I was able to switch between AC and heat (Jersey in spring...prepare for all 4 seasons!). There is a family living upstairs, but they leave you alone and are so quiet, it's easy to forget someone lives upstairs. In my encounters with them, they were super nice. I would highly recommend this location, and would not hesitate to rent this apartment again.

Nice space that worked great for my siblings and myself for two nights while we were in town for a wedding. Comfortable temperature, decent beds, and private-feeling. Amy is a helpful and hands-off host who provided everything that we needed in advance
