"It was a ok place to stay. We were hiking most of the time. The shower was small with water running on to the floor. The biggest issue we had was the location. The entrance into the house is a junk yard house, the owner has a truck that is parked blocking the entrance partially . Making it close for our truck to pull up the driveway. The positive is that there is a fenced yard for our dogs to come in and out. The concept of the container home is cute. A couple with pets it works "

"With the lake not yet active after the storm I was concerned if the younger adults would be bored or not have a great time. We all had a blast. That game table is a hit! Good for. A few minutes entertainment or several hours depending on what you want to play. Very comfortable beds. Very beautiful place. Easy to use tbs and kitchen ware. Enough technology to impress. But not ultra technical gadgets to complicated to use. We had an awesome time! Will stay again if available. Quiet neighborhood...

"Absolutely charming and very well equipped small home. A lot of small amenities to make it welcoming. Didn't realize it had steps, that was our fault for not checking. We found the registration process to be confusing trying to do it through Expedia as it was a vbro. The owner went out of her way to be helpful."

"We had a wonderful stay. Very clean with a cozy cabin retreat feel. We chose this mountain house so we would have a view and to be close the chimneys rock. Nice large deck to enjoy that view. Our host were in quick communication with us for check-in and check-out. Sent us all the information needed for a smooth stay. I was happy to see Lake Lure is making a come back after the hurricane. "
