The Hotel is nicely located and in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The property is a little outdated and needs some TLC for sure. People/stuff is very friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t get in touch with room service. Overall nice stay

This was likely a really nice place to stay at one time. It's just dated and cheaply repairs have filled a nice place. In room safe was broken, shower leaks. Zero privacy for the rooftop.

Room and furniture are worn & dated. AC leaked from ceiling to create a large puddle at the door. Took 2 days before fixed and even then, thermostat didn’t work. Ran freezing cold - only way to regulate temperature was to keep turning on and off all night. Room had been cleaned, but piles of dirt in corners of floor left from mop and shower floor also not clean. No response to complaints after leaking AC was fixed. Elevator seems older - broke on 2 occasions while there (once with people in it) and had to use stairs to Penthouse. VRBO contact after stay has been poor as well.

The property was filthy… from the curtains to the standing rainwater & debris in the hot tub. This condo is not maintained or thoroughly cleaned at all; the front desk mentioned it as well. A couple on the rooftop was actually having sex outside as there is no privacy for any of the rooms on the rooftop. We were advised that we could only check in at a certain time, otherwise we had to piggyback on the elevator with hotel guests. We immediately left and stayed at a legitimate hotel. Never again.

It was as listed a private condo inside a hotel very nice property in the art deco distrist . Check in was easy the view from the condo decks was very nice furniture as per posted pictures . Reported a few issues to the rental company that were not resolved during our stay the hot tub did not work , only one of the 2 televisions in the unit worked no technician as promised ever showed and u tube link was sent on how to set up your tv that was not useful both these issues were not deal breakers but definatly disapointing. The pool at the hotel was closed for 5 of our 7 day stay that was very disapointing as well. The location is perfect walking distance to everything you could need day or night .

The location of the condo is fabulous! Ocean view from the top deck. Hotel staff was friendly and good amenities and pool. The cleaning prior to our arrival definitely could have used improvement. Very dusty, bed a bit disheveled and dirt on floor. We didn’t have water for the first few hours but it was rectified within an hour of contacting host. The TV did not work the entire stay unfortunately and the general condo could use aesthetic updates such as, finishes and mirror frames detaching from walls. We expected a bit more from the space. We were looking for a relaxing few days away but an Overall a good few days.

We were at the property last week. One of the main reasons we booked this property was for the Hot Tub on the second level of the unit. We reached out (text and email which we were communicating up till we just arrived it seemed pretty convenient that it stopped right after we mentioned the issues) in regards to other issues and how to use the hot tub, but didn’t hear back from the property owner until the day that we were leaving. They then told us that the hot tub was broken. We also had an issue with the TV. But never got any response in regards to it until days after we left. An easy solution was to move us to the property across the hall from us where we noticed no one was staying.

The penthouse is located on top floor of the Z Ocean Hotel, but is NOT a part of the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were not allowed in the elevator without the keycard. We showed the desk clerk our reservation and that we needed to go up to the room to access the keycard. We called the property management company following the prompts and no one would answer. Finally after 15 minutes, we sent an email and got an immediate response within a few minutes. The property manager said the hotel changed their rule for allowing guests on the elevator without the keycard. The property manager had to drive to the hotel to let us on. So, the check in was not pleasant. Suggestion…arrange for property manager to meet you at the hotel for check in. Once we got into the room, we were very impressed! The room smelled so clean and everything was in order as expected. The ocean and city views from the patio and roof top were amazing!! We were a little disappointed that the hot tub didn’t work. Property manager said it was an issue with the hotel that needed to be fixed. I did see a guest review back from March 2022 that said the hot tub was not working then. There is no room service unless it’s requested in advance and cost is extra. There were plenty of bath and beach towels, and sheets for the sofa bed. But, no additional linens for the very comfortable queen bed. The bathroom was huge with a small window in the shower with my clean view. The beach chairs and chairs umbrella were good to have. Every you could want is within walking distance. The airport is only 20-25 minutes and Lyft cost was $20. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again.

The condo was a bit smaller than expected and the outdoor area where the hot tub is located must be accessed by a metal spiral staircase. That wasn’t great, however the hot tub area on the roof was certainly beneficial. The fridge is a micro and there were no cooking amenities. We will stay again

Nice location. Your close to the beach and with in walking distance to several shops and places to eat. The shower was amazing and the bed was comfortable. The reason I didn't give a 5 star review....You dont check in with the front desk because the unit is privately owned. However to even get to your room you need a key card to operate the elevator, so your stuck standing there waiting for anyone with a key card to operate the elevator so you can hop on with them. One of the major selling points for me was the hot tub. So it was my brother's birthday and the trip was for him. Well the hot tub did not work. I notified the property owner. Said they would send a technician out. No one ever came. No hot tub during our stay. There's a stain on the curtain that looks like poop. We seen a roach and plenty of ants in the room. The couch looks very very old. The brown leatherish material is peeling off of both couch arms. No extra covers for the pull out couch bed. My suggestion would be to just book directly threw the hotel which is ZOcean
