"Wonderful view of Trinidad Bay, the Head etc. Large living room, big deck. Comfy seating in living room. This is an older house, smells of mold/musty. I didn't get used to it tho it didn't bother my husband. Even the front door is moldy, not very welcoming. Plus the shredding wallpaper at the front entrance. Also the blankets need washing. Sheets were clean but everything else needs washing. I left a note for the cleaners not that they can do anything about the mold. "

"This sweet cozy cottage was wonderful! The place was clean and had all of the amenities we needed. The house is located in the woods but was not too far from the town of Eureka. We loved seeing the banana slugs in the garden. The host communicated all through our stay. Thank you!"

"My family came to Arcata to help my daughter move into the university there. What a great place. We’ve stayed in hotels and other rentals before but we liked it here the best. Very relaxing, clean and up to date. The soaking tub was really nice! And the outdoor shower was fantastic. Loved the garden. Kitchen was great, had everything we needed, and the TV was smart so we could stream Hulu and max. A great stay - we will be back!"

"Beautiful location. Host answered our questions right away and provide suggestions about local trails. Even though host was on the premises, he provided us complete privacy. "

"Trinidad is a hidden gem with beautiful views and beaches. The house was exactly as pictured in a nice neighborhood with views and close to local shops, grocery store and restaurants. It was very comfortable for our family of 6 but lacked some basics I've come to expect like at least a minimal amount of alum foil, plastic wrap, sugar etc. Not even a salt shaker! I also would have appreciated a bottle of cleaning fluid. The only thing provided was 2 rolls of paper towel, trash bags and a 2 oz....
