"I’ve never written a review for a hotel, but by chance someone is saved from being fooled by the 200+ positive reviews that HAVE to have been bought, here it is. This property is disgustingly dirty and atrociously dilapidated. The pictures you see on the listing are absolutely NOT accurate. The halls are filthy, doors with chips and dents all over. Carpet had holes and there are holes in the walls of the hallway. Paint is peeling everywhere. Our room had two large brown stains from a leak...

"I had a great stay, Doug and Cathy are wonderful hosts. The only drawback for Toad Hill is the bathroom may be uncomfortable for large guests, it's pretty tight quarters in there. Other than that, I really enjoyed the views, and the breezeway and patio. It's convenient to things in Knoxville, Alcoa, Northshore and the airport."

"This property is located in a quiet spot yet close to everything we wanted to do. The bus is very cozy for 2 people. We were able to sit and relax in the evening. It was nice to be able to wash and dry our clothes. The bus was very clean. They only thing ai would recommend would be tinting the windows to help with the summer heat."
