"I thought the pictures of this place was very miss leading!!! Very outdated. The directions were not helpful and we were asking around the buildings where this place was and no one knew. If you’re on a budget then it’s ok but I wouldn’t stay again… it needs lots of updates! "

"Andrea was a wonderful host! He was always available during my stay, gave me a warm welcome, and shared very helpful information about both the hotel and the town. He even accompanied me to my room. The room itself was excellent — very clean, quiet, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location couldn’t be better: just a 2-minute walk to the beach, with shops and restaurants only steps away. I highly recommend this place! "

"We had an unplanned doctor visit in the morning of our check-in day that delayed everything planned in our day. I received a call from Angela around 6 pm saying that we were late for our check in and she'd leave notes for us. She reminded me that there is a roughly 100 meters of upheel walk and stairs. Then I realized my mother-in-law joined our trip last minutes and we had totally forgotten about this part. I asked Angela if there was a wheelchair I could use for my mother-in-law. She paused...

"I was extremely impressed with how friendly and helpful were the staff from front desk to waiter, particularly Frankie at the front desk. He showed me short cuts to walk down to the train station. The hotel is up on the hill with a nice pool and spa facilities perfect for relaxation after a day of walking in Cinque Terre. It provides shuttle service to town center and train station from 9 am to 11 pm which makes it a good starting point to explore Cinque Terre."

"We had a fantastic stay at Il Veliero. I can’t say enough about the wonderful Judith! Who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! She was so helpful and accommodating! We loved the location so close to beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms were great and super clean. Our outdoor courtyard was perfect for our group of seven to have cocktails before dinner and charcuterie lunches. We would definitely come back again!!!"
