"Nice corner unit apartment with a very welcoming host. Professionally managed unit, too. It's possible to drive, take a train, or even drive to a ferry to get into Manhattan from here (if you go outside of rush hour, it might take 40-55 minutes). Bunk bed is squeaky, so prepare for that, but otherwise everything is intact and quite nice. "

"The place was great for visiting NY to see the Christmas lights and shows. Took public transportation from Newark airport which dropped us off at North Elizabeth station & we walked from there. Choice between bus & rail to get to New York City - bus stop was closer. Allow time for traffic especially if you have show tickets on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. We arrived during a heat wave, but the central air conditioning cooled beautifully. When the weather cooled down, we made use of the large balcony, both in the mornings and evenings.
