"Liked the garden, but it needs a little C&A... Disabled car parking near to our room (No.5) was an excellent bonus. Breakfast was excellent but a bit expensive. Staff were all very courtious and helpful. Direct booking rather than via an agency is preferred. We will certainly be recomending the Lion to our friends and relations and using you again next time we are in the area. "Lots of parking spaces, even as we arrived late in the day. The breakfast was a bit of a scramble due to flight times and opening times of the restaurant as time was a bit short, they did however provide a 'grab and go' selection of pastries, juices etc in reception if you needed to go earlier. The only gripe was that our room did not have air con, I presumed that it would and never checked. "Amazing setting and beautiful grounds Great place for wedding celebrations However the rooms were rather small with limited facilities for the price paid. Breakfast times restricted to 8-10 , would extend to accommodate guests’needs. Also a bit disappointing you had to pay a supplement to have half of the items on the menu"

"Great two nights stay at the airport Inn and spa. Car parks were busy but we found somewhere easily enough, check-in was straightforward pleasant and friendly. We had a family room which was well-maintained clean with lots of great amenities. Drink drinks in the bar and dinner in the restaurant was lovely and reasonably well priced, breakfast was fantastic. Serve from 530 with hot from seven. Can’t complain great value well looked after friendly staff a lovely two night break thank you."

"Good facilities and really good size room. There were no spare pillows in the room (I don't want to have to ask), no toilet brush in the rest room which is fine if maid service makes a good job of cleaning the toilet; which they didn't. Beginning of mould in shower could have done with a deep clean in bathroom.No air conditioning in rooms really isn't good enough in this day and age. Also used for corporate clients/company retreats/training and they seemed a bit rowdy, need to actively manage...

"Was such a poor experience we decided not to stay there when we arrived back in Manchester as originally planned. We drove back to Glasgow arriving home at 5AM rather than stay. I think that says it all"

"This hotel is in a great location for travelling from Liverpool Airport! Access is easy and rooms are quiet and comfortable with all the amenities tea/coffee and iron! We missed breakfast because of an early flight. Continental is served from 4am and buffet from 6am. I have added a pic which shows the departure terminal across from the hotel this was taken from our room. Highly recommended 👌"
