"Took my boyfriend, now fiancée here for our 3 year anniversary since he had never been to NYC. Super close to Times Square and Broadway shows. Staff was all amazing everything we came in and left. Loved the breakfast and snack area, especially the fancy coffe machine! Rooms are somewhat plain but clean and you dont spend much time in it anyhow. Would stay again!"

"Everything was good but it would be nice to know before booking that the lobby is under construction with loud noises and the bar was closed over the weekend."

The air conditioning was on and there was a lovely scent when welcoming you back to a very clean and beautiful hotel. Location was 1/2 a block from Time Square which made everything very convenient. "The Civilian is an amazing place to stay. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, I attended a Broadway show and it was a 2 minute walk to the theater. The staff was amazing. The room and hotel was spotless. Housekeeping came at 4:30PM, one day. I’d prefer to have them come earlier. Also, the breakfast bar was pretty limited. Other than that, everything else was EXCELLENT! If definitely stay again and recommend it to others."
