"Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. "Room was large and clean with a bath and shower. The hotel is in a beautiful village next to the river and many lovely walks. Evening meal was excellent, as was breakfast. All the staff were great with Naomi going above and beyond."

What really impressed me about the hotel was the extra details everywhere to make it really welcoming and easy for families. Toys, games, high chairs, ramps and accesible options - and even some secret doors for elves & fairies hidden around the place.
