"We had a wonderful stay at Villa 80. Our room was comfy and Henry, his wife and staff couldn't do enough for us. The tranquil garden was a real haven and the pool was a bonus. We weren't far from excellent beaches and the railway station. A tuktuk was available to run us to wherever we wanted to be whether to the local market or local gardens. And the breakfasts were excellent."

"We had the most incredible stay at the Bombay Bicycle Club hotel. What a stunning hotel, situated by the most beautiful beach. The staff were so friendly, helpful and kind. Food was delicious and so so fresh. It really was a 5 star stay and we would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend! "

"Comfortable stay, we were welcomed by Wasantha who checked us in, with a delicious watermelon juice made by Charana. The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful pool and garden area - towels were supplied. The breakfast cooked by Anuradha was delicious - fruit, toast, eggs, tea and coffee. Great value for a very luxurious stay! We would definitely stay here again!"

"The pool and beach setting were incredible, the room was spacious and had nice amenitys, the beds were comfy and balconys had a stunning view. We upgraded to half board when we arrived, breakfast had lots of options, dinner was always really high quality food, however the amount offered did seem to depend on how many people were in the hotel at the time. "Nice hotel with great location on the beach....initially I would have given a 4/5. Now I downgraded to 3/5. Internet seems to cut out constantly at check-out time (I saw this happen every one of the five days I was there...curious that internet fails everyday at the same time!) so impossible to order an uber and you end up taking their taxis which are double the price!!! Also, no fans in rooms so you are stuck with loud A/C all night. Finally, for some reason, two days into my stay somebody...

"We had a very enjoyable stay here. It's a great place to spend a beach holiday with an extraordinary pool and a clean beach to walk, it's not possible to swim in the sea. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and with the necessary amenities. The only downside was it had no proper entertainment for the evenings."
