"We had a lovely stay at Howecroft over the new year period. Very spacious and well stocked with friendly helpful hosts.The gardens were the highlight for us, the kids spent hours just exploring, despite the freezing weather.The house was a little tired in places, carpets worn and some damp smells in the hall and lounge. It was spotlessly clean though. All in all a magnificent place and would be amazing in the summer with access to the pool."

"Just had a wonderful week at The Hawthorns, the house was spotless and homely , nice linen and comfy beds , the kitchen had everything we needed especially for self catering. Lots of board games for the children , smart tv with Netflix etc . Sarah the host was very welcoming and gave us lots of tips on where to go etc .The welcome basket was the best we’ve ever had, so thoughtful. The local pub was very welcoming and child friendly. "Lovely well appointed house with generous welcome hamper filled with local foods and drink. Soaps and shampoos etc in the bathrooms and cloakroom. Lots to see and do in the local area and our host was superb, communicating well and greeting us the first evening to show us the ropes. A wonderful stay in all respects."
