"We were a multi-generational family (13 people ranging from 2-70) celebrating a special birthday. The house was perfect for us all with plenty of bedroom and living space and a lovely big dining table. The bathrooms worked well even though not ensuite. Loads of hot water, crockery, glasses etc. We all slept upstairs and didn't need to use the downstairs bedroom. The gardens and outdoor space were fabulous, we just needed better weather. "We had an amazing weekend at Maycliffe. We were a family group of 7 people. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished with some wonderful little touches that make your stay even more enjoyable. The communication with the owners was excellent from start to finish. The house location is only a few metres away from the coastal path and the town and beach are a short walk or drive away. We will definitely stay here again."

"Stayed here with 16 members of the family, aged 10 months to over 70. Games room was perfect, very well stocked kitchen , bedrooms were good, in general the property needs a hug, tired in places. The beaches are accessible by only the sure footed, and we’re not suitable to sit on as there was evidence of rock falls.having said that the coastal walks were perfect"

"We had an incredible stay here. We got lucky with the weather but the house was more than big enough for our party of 16. It was clean and tidy with great cooking facilities and the pool was lovely in 30 degrees! The owners were amazing with great communication in the run up to and during the stay and very helpful with check in. I would definitely stay here again and would highly reccomend it."

Poor lighting in the seating area- had to use torches to read by and bathroom could do with a shaving mirror Unlikely to return as poor approach road bad for car suspension and old bones"

"We had a lovely stay at Nettlestone House and the house is bigger than looks in the pictures and all the bedrooms are spacious. We were 2 families with 6 children ranging from 8-15 years old and there was plenty of room. We would definitely stay again!"

"Great property and lots of room. Only downside were the mattresses on beds in twin beds as they were soft and the beds creaked every time you moved so made for an uncomfortable weeks sleep especially when they are so close together."
