"We had an amazing week at the Guest House! The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Air conditioning, gas fireplace, washer and dryer, big kitchen - everything was great and thoughtfully laid out. Janis and Martin are excellent hosts and told us to let them know if we needed anything. Their dock was well equipped as well with comfortable chairs, tables, umbrellas, etc. Swimming off the dock in crystal clear water was a highlight. Use of the canoe to paddle over to Fossli...

"Comfortable cottage seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but well connected to the village. Having a large enclosed backyard for the pups to run around was a huge plus. The Island itself was not the most dog friendly- all trails (but one) required dogs to stay on leash which was unfortunate for us.Overall we had a great stay with dark, quiet nights, eagle sightings and wonderful views that changed by the minute :)"

"Check-in went very smoothly. We arrived slightly ahead of schedule, and Melanie and Don were very gracious in not minding our 20 min early check-in! The kitchenette has everything needed to cook a simple meal!I assumed because of the title of the listing that hottub access was included, and it was totally my mistake that I didn’t closely read the contract sent, but I likely wouldn’t have booked if I’d known it wasn’t. It is a beautiful property in an amazing area, but if it is tricky to swing...

"The room was just ok for the price… no cozy blankets, poor heating system where the lower living room area was cold but the kitchen.. which is up a few stairs was very hot… poor placement of the heat pump as heat rises. Very basic for the cost. No privacy on deck where hot tub is… an easy fix. Bathtub and shower basically in the kitchen out in the open. It was ok… but again for the price charged per night I would have expected a much better set up and extras like cozy blankets for this time of...

"Nice quiet stay, kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice bbq steak dinner. Hot tub under a covered deck was nice as it was a rainy weekend! "
