"This place was incredible. Charles was such a kind, gracious host and welcomed us to a truly unbelievable view from our room. Excellent bathroom, bed, pillows, and the location is stellar (up high overlooking the entire bay). Breakfast was thoughtful and cute - thanks for making gluten free toast. 10/10 would recommend! "I can see the vision and the property itself is super cute with nice gardens and decor. The toiletries are of high quality and very nice but the basics could do with improvements. We had the garden room for 4 nights. We checked in late and were sent very clear instructions which was appreciated. Once in the room there was no overhead light but there was a light switch so we fumbled around in the dark looking for it. There were two bedside lamps but only one worked. "Call this what it is. It’s a room rental with 1000 passive aggressive notes written over everything. A shared bathroom (with the current owner) who will be living and staying in the home for the duration of your stay. Not suited off, no place to truly have any type of privacy. The division between the bedroom the gave me and the loft above me the owners operators were staying was an ugly blue cushion on a wrought iron stairwell. "The only thing we were confused about was it was not a bed and breakfast..but was listed as one online. No Breakfast. Everything else was great, and clean and cozy. The new TV was working but last day no signal could not watch TV. I was so happy they let us check out at 2 pm, as our trip back to Edmonton was early in evening. Coffe was so nice, and it was a pleasure to stay. We would return for sure."
