"Upon arrival at the Grantham Arms, we were welcomed warmly by staff. The atmosphere was friendly and cheerful on the Saturday before Christmas. Our room was well-appointed and very cosy. The decor was stylish and comfortable with plenty of cushions and good quality bed linen and towels. There were lots of extras - we particularly liked the biscuits - and the tea and coffee making facilities were great. "The hotel is located a 15 minute walk into the city but with some restaurants and pubs close bye. It is very clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent and so were the staff. Our room was small but adequate and very clean. We would stay there again."

"Nice little B&B within walking distance to the city centre. This was a convenient location with onsite parking available. The room was spacious and comfortable for the most part although our bed was very creaky so maybe the mattress or base needs replacing. Shower was excellent and the breakfast was good, recommended!"
