"Turning into the drive, we were met with daffodils, sheep and lambs - calm, relaxing. Then, entering the cottage we were met with fresh scones and a lovely welcome hamper. After a day out exploring we enjoyed sitting by the log burner with a glass of wine. There are easy walks from the door, convenient for quality shops in Harrogate with many historic sites nearby. Andy and Sue were excellent hosts, keen to ensure we had everything we needed. Will hopefully return on future visits from Canada."

"We enjoyed staying at Lyndale House. The house was very clean and we all loved having our own room with ensuite.The beds were really comfortable. There was a very well equiped kitchen with many basic ingredients provided. The house was really well located at the bottom of the Main Street. The only negative for us was having no where outside, at the house, to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. This would not be an issue if the weather had not been so good!"

"We had a lovely time staying here. The property is very clean, nicely decorated and thoroughly equipped. The owner communicated everything clearly to us and was very helpful. The house is well located for visiting Harrogate. We walked down into town through the picturesque Valley Gardens (20-30 minute walk) and got a bus back. The bus stop is at the end of the road, as is a friendly pub. We were able to park on the road outside the property. I highly recommend staying here."

"Fabulous stay, the property has a beautiful view from the raised decking. There is everything provided for a stress free break. We stayed as a couple and only used the accommodation upstairs,I would not have used the downstairs bedroom accessed through the garage. Friendly cows in the adjacent field. A great base to enjoy North Yorkshire."

"My elderly father and I had a wonderful few days here. Everything was so easy being in the village, we never cooked as there are lots of options for eating out or takeaway. Local dog walks were super and the enclosed courtyard meant we were never worried about the dog. Hosts were easy to contact and replied quickly to questions. Would happily recommend this lovely cottage and delightful village."

"Location was perfect as was a short walk into Pateley Bridge and to the start of the Action Challenge walking event. Good space, though the stairway felt a little dark (not ideal for elderly parents but fine for everyone else!). Beds were super comfy and there wasn't any outside light coming in during night."

"Good location - but can hear people sitting out at rear of pub - heating not fully working and thermostat & fusebox makes a loud noise when heating turned on. No curtains only light coloured vertical blinds in main bedroom so very light in the morning as the sun comes up. Other bedroom not bad as dark coloured blinds - not as bright."

"We had the best stay at this property. All three properties are very well equipped and were perfect for our large group. The location is stunning and great for doing walks in the local area. Sally was very responsive to any queries I had ahead of the trip and whilst we were there. A hot tub had just been installed a few days before we arrived and was the perfect addition to the property.
