"There were no staff, it was self check in and there was coffee, water, juice and yogurt in the common area. The bagged “lunch” was in your room, it had an apple, orange, banana bread, chocolate chip muffin, small granola bar and a krispie crunch. The website did not say that the restaurant was not open 7 days per week. It is an easy walk to the grocery stores and local restaurants. "We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"My experience here was very nice. We just stayed one night. It was simple and clean. It has a fridge and a microwave and air conditioning which was very nice to have. The neighborhood that it is located in has lovely little shops and places to eat. And it was within great walking distance of Citadel Hill. The only negative was trying to find parking."

"The room was clean and the hotel was in good shape. There was lots of parking but it did take a while to get there from downtown Halifax. It was about a 25 minute drive but it was raining. The bed was comfortable and although the room was a little dated it was fine. It even had a pool but we were only there for the night."
