"When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!"

"We had the most wonderful time this weekend. The neighborhood was 2 easy turns from interstate. The home was furnished and decorated beautifully. The outside living area was so perfect, and the lake was so relaxing. Perfect set up for kids, teens, or friends. Ample space for everything. So many personal touches. It felt like home. Owner had great communication. Highly recommend."

"We had a wonderful time at Emerald Escape. The design and decorating inside and the view outside is great. We had such a good and restful time. The mornings out on the upper and lower level with a cup of coffee were just so refreshing. We also spent some time on the dock swimming and watching all the action on the lake. We definitely used the grill each day cooking steaks, hamburgers, and hotdogs. We just loved the quiet and peace especially in the mornings where so many other popular vacation...

"Family Paradise was the perfect setting for my family to celebrate my dad’s 75th birthday. The house was set on a beautiful cove with breathtaking lake views. We enjoyed the kayaks, slide, and jump platform. We tried to fish , but were never able to catch anything. Shannon was very responsive and able to answer all questions we had leading up to the trip. I would definitely recommend staying at this location, and I hope we can again soon."

"We had the best experience staying here! The house was beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed and more. The kids had so much fun playing on the lily pad, paddle boarding, and swimming off the dock. It had everything we needed for grilling and we enjoyed making smores over the fire pit. The communication with the host was great and friendly. We look forward to coming back to stay!"

"We gathered to celebrate my son’s 23rd birthday. We didn’t need 2 areas for cooking but having the extra space was nice. 3 refrigerators was a plus. It rained at some point on most days but had plenty of games or just chill and read a book. We used the paddle boards and played corn hole too. Wonderfully quiet place in a neighborhood with large lots."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heirloom Cabin. Indoor spaces were clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The house is situated in a very picturesque area that offers privacy but also easy accessibility to the great dock and water space. "This lake house was the perfect place for our family! We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy Smith Lake. We cooked on the Weber grill every day and enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the deck. The pontoon boat and water toys were perfect for the teenagers and young adult grandchildren too. We are already making plans to return!"

"We had a great visit! The house is very remote, no cell service, which was what I was looking for. The back deck is awesome. The house is surrounded by trees and the deck stayed cool all day so that is where we spend most of our time unwinding. "Saying my fiances stay and mine was amazing at this place just doesn't do it justice!! It's exactly as pictured! We had so much fun! Wether we were swimming, fishing, fishing in the kayaks, or making a fire and s'mores. We literally had a blast! It is down a dirt road but it really isn't that bad!
