"Amazing stay at the Castle Inn. Check-in was superb – very friendly and informative. We had an issue with our bedroom, which we spoke to the manager Simon about and he was incredibly kind and understanding. Although the pub was really really busy he found a workaround that was brilliant and meant we enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully furnished. "David and Lorna were lovely. Nice warm welcome and explained what was on offer and asked if there was anything that we needed. They were off on a short family break leaving the In Laws to cover Breakfast etc. Incl checking out and settling the bill 'if this had not already been done with David or Lorna before they had left'. Slight Communication breakdown we felt but overall had a fab stay. Reccommeded by us."

"Booked for a 1-night stay for work. Great welcome and shown to room (in room 3). Lovely room, good TV and wifi. Bed was very comfortable, ensuite was great and heated. Own thermostat in room. Small desk to work at (if required). Nice touch of being able to get fresh milk for tea and coffee in lobby just before going into room, as well as bottled water. "This property is what I would call quirky due to its age. There are steps down from the kitchenette into the lounge and steps from the lounge into the downstairs bathroom. I found the property to be clean and comfortable. Generally street parking worked ok but it’s a long walk to the seafront. "

"The lodgings are in fact an appartement not whole house as advertised. Not is it 3 minutes from the beach unless you have a car. It has not been modernised but is spacious and inexpensive. "
