Form should follow function however, and a motel bathroom should have enough counter room for travelers to rest both a toothbrush AND a tube of toothpaste. In addition, toilet seats are the cheapest, easiest fixture to replace in a bathroom. Replace the one in 302. Middle of the night fire alarm wasn't the fault of the hotel, but where was the staff? "I usually stay with a different hotel chain, but this was much cheaper so we booked it. I did not have high expectations.
The place was clean, friendly and on par with everyone else. I would stay here again.
We used the shuttle to and from the airport and that went flawless.
There are jets going over. They are low enough that the pressure wave moves the curtains slighty. . Pretty funky but I did planes so I slept just fine."

"The light in the bathroom was both broken casting only a dark orange light. You could not see to shave or do makeup. Upon turning on the shower spray would be onto the floor owing to the fact that the shower head was not tightly attached to the pipe. We immediately advise the front desk of the light issue and the leak. They advised that no repair could be made until the next day. The next morning the person at the front desk was unaware of our complaint and filed a new complaint on our behalf...

"We were excited to visit the Avon Inn and it exceeded our expectations. It is a delightful hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was big, with a comfortable bed and in room gas fireplace. The co-owner Jen was lovely to speak to and the history of the hotel is fascinating. Special shoutout to the awesome pool table in the lobby - it is an awesome statement piece and a great use of the space to socialize being right next to the restaurant.
