Holiday Inn Express used to be our go to hotel, but we’re done after this trip. Neither of the beds had been changed after the last guest, they were just made back up. One of them still had lint from their pajamas on the sheets when we turned back the covers to go to bed. I called the front desk and was brought sheets to change myself. I understand that we got in at 1:30 am after a delayed flight, and no housekeeping staff was available, but I never should have had to make the call. In addition, there was hair on various parts of the toilet and pubic hair on the shower curtain as well as something smeared on the shower wall. We canceled our next night and went somewhere else. And guess what? When I got my emailed receipt, I was charged for both nights. Ridiculous!
