"A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays.
Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"We had the most beautiful stay here with our family of 9. we needed two of the rooms which slept 5 per room. The rooms were next to eachother and when we arrived the lovely host said they had moved the bbqs back so we could easily get to each room via the balcony instead of going out around the front. "Great location, right on the main drag. Close to ammenities, right on the beach. Room very, very, clean. Host very easy to talk to, extremely friendly. A couple of gifts were left in the fridge upon our arrival, nice surprise!
Night life activities not far away. Nice and private accommodations. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Gas station, grocery store just around the corner. Would definitely book here again. Highly recommended. A happy Canadian!"

"The apartment itself met our needs and it was amazing being right across the road from the beach. Great kitchen facilities and lovely warm space.
However, being on the bottom floor apartment means you can hear all upstairs and driveway noise which happened to be a lot during our stay and the parking is pretty tight outside the front apartments."
