"The Olde House was quite a surprise and seemed very popular with local people and seemed busy whilst we stayed there for three nights. The Carpark was enormous and during the day was being used by people learning to drive motorcars. Inside the building had many levels to choose from, where to sit. Our bed-room was a good size although the bathroom did not have any grab handles around the bath/shower tub. "I have stayed at the Peacock a few times now as the location is stunning and the rooms never fail to disappoint. They are clean and the bathrooms always have the wow factor. The food in the restaurant is also great, the only downside was the service, we didn’t get our wine for over half an hour and had to ask three times for it from different staff. However I will be back again! "

"Staff were polite and welcoming. The lady at the desk in the dining room took time to walk around checking guests were OK. I gave an overall 4- star because my request for late check-out wasn't effected and I had to go back to reception to get it implemented. "

"The room was clean, Staff excellent, Bar fully stocked, Wifi good. Room was very small 10foot wide 20foot long, bed very soft, no good for people with back problems. Advertised as B&B cleaner had to get manager in to do breakfast which was basically a bacon sandwich. No breakfast the following day even though it was the chef who let us out of building!"

"There was no milk for my coffee and the breakfast room was not clean and moldy lemon for breakfast not happy"

"The staff was very welcoming. But the rooms are old and not everything was clean (hair in the shower, coffee stains on the wall, etc.). First room I got,102, is a special needs room, I guess that was the only one available. After the first night I started getting headaches because of a very strong musty smell. Luckily I could switch rooms and everything was fine."
