"Reasonable price. Due to the stairs leading to the unit I wouldn’t recommend for older individuals. If you just want to catch a nights sleep it’s a good place but not inviting to sit, talk and relax."

It is more a 5 star hotel feel with more amenities like a full kitchen, tv/viewing room, heated floors in bathroom, etc. The host Jared asked and provided desired coffee, wine, and a wine/cheese. "The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. "Our family had a fantastic stay! We rented the home while I was performing at the Maine State Music Theatre, and it was the perfect place to relax after busy days. There were seven of us, including our two grandsons, and the house had plenty of room for everyone. It was spotless, comfortable, well-equipped, and located in a peaceful setting. I went to open screen door and top hinges where rotten and the door fell off in my hand, My husband fixed it for us. then we went into a cabin that was 100 degrees we started the room air conditioner which did not help with the heat. "The cottage was great home base for exploring the area. We loved Reid State Park, visited lighthouses, strolled Bath and it was short drive to Botanical Gardens. The screened porch was great for relaxing and the cottage was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Pictures and description were accurate. Mark was very responsive to questions. Wonderful stay."
