"Not the cleanest bathrooms. Sink was very slow to drain, tub/shower very old. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was not good. Very crowded and only 1 staff member to keep up with the continuously empty supply of breakfast food. Would not return."

"Our only complaint is that on Tuesday morning there was no place nearby to get breakfast. The hotel had good coffee, but nothing else. There is a restaurant close by but its not open on Tuesdays. We asked the front desk about breakfast and all he said was we'll probably find something open in Damariscotta, way back by Route 1. The hotel could have supplied bagels, donuts, etc. on Tuesdays knowing the restaurant nearby was closed. We did find a diner on our way to Damariscotta but it was...

"The inn is in an old historic building, with lots of original character. Fantastic to have parking. Great location, short walk to town. We stayed in the Victory room on the first floor. Very spacious, clean and nice bedding on comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot and good water pressure. Things to know: We had a window AC but no thermostat to control heat (fortunately we had ideal weather). We were next to a restaurant in the building so had to keep curtains closed as people were walking...

"We loved the location, the newly renovated room, and especially the shared kitchen! Jersey connected us with a local lobster fisherman and were able to pick up three fresh caught, live cooked lobsters (they were still warm at pick up) to take back and enjoy with a view - Delicious and affordable! It was definitely a perk to be able to use the kitchen to prepare side dishes, etc. The other upside to shared spaces is getting to know other guests, two of which we discovered had a close family...

"Reasonably clean property but there seemed to be a lot of corners being cut. Checked in at around 10:30 pm after a long cross country flight. There were no sheets on the sofa bed or the comforter pack in either of the two rooms we booked, so we dealt with that.
Next morning went in for a shower and the shampoo was all empty - nothing at all.
Went downstairs and there were no glasses for water.
Overall it is a clean property but has a lot of quality issues in their service. And the staff...
