"This is a very unconventional arrangement for a hotel. It does not even have a reception desk. The owner, who lives remotely, provides entry and room door combinations. Fortunately, he reached me via phone when I was on the road. IMO, however, booking services (e.g., trivago, expedia) need to ascertain that as part of the booking process and forewarn clients of the unconventional nature of this place."

"This was an excellent stay! I was looking for something that was cheaper than hotel listings in Medina. I stumbled upon this gem. If you are looking to be near the water you can’t get closer than this! It’s near downtown and the trail. There is a double bed so this is best for a single person or a couple that likes to snuggle. "We had a lovely time in Medina - there was a lot to do within walking distance, and many parks to visit within driving distance. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and the host was accessible and responsive when we had a question. We used the kitchen while we were there and had everything we needed. Would love to stay here again and explore more of Medina!"

"The house was absolutely beautiful inside and felt so comfortable, even without air conditioning. The setting is so peaceful—you can even hear the gentle waves from the lake on some nights, which was such a treat. We loved spending time in every space, especially relaxing on the large porch. The pool was wonderful and became our go-to for swimming since the lake had a bit of algae along the shore. Overall, it was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay—we didn’t want to leave!"
