"We enjoyed the quiet during off- season in the cozy cabin. Loved sitting on the enclosed front porch. Located close to Fort Harrod and Shaker Village which were both enjoyable visits."

"I came in for an evening with my dog for a family members wedding. Mike was very friendly and responsive at my time. It’s a very beautiful piece of property. Additionally the rental area has everything you would need. You can tell that the effort is put in to be as helpful and accommodating for the stay. I would come again and appreciate the hospitality!"

The other thing that I didn't realize is that the house is just open to the basement - there's no door. That may not bother some, but it was a little odd for me, coming from an area that doesn't even have basements. "

"We only stayed two nights, but this place was God sent. Amazing place to stay and absolutely loved sitting outside by the stream listening to the horses, cows and donkey. Host is fantastic, super friendly and helpful. "

Many times when staying at places rented online you see pictures that show all the beauty and when you arrive it is at least somewhat lacking. This property was outstanding. I would definitely stay in this house again. We did not have to contact the host during the stay as everything was in order and identified."

"The Cabin was everything we expected and more. The kids loved fishing in the pond and they caught several. This is a beautiful home. We absolutely loved the speakeasy downstairs, this was the hangout spot most nights."
