"It was alright overall. Details, details, details... I didn't recognize from the photos the age of the residence and coming off a stay from a newer residence, I wasn't fully prepared. Spacious layout and plenty of room for as many as six or seven to sleep on existing beds. Bedding was clean, neat and fresh. Bathrooms are dated but clean (It'd be nice to have a window screen (guest bath)). There aren't any towel racks so we improvised with some plastic hangers found in a closet. A/C worked well....

"The listing is not accurate. Be prepared to bring everything with you, pots/pans/adult size plates/cooking utensils/hair dryer. There is no BBQ grill, the house had 2 pans and 1 spatula and 1 spoon. The eating utensils were appetizer plates, forks, butter knife, spoons and 4 glass cups. The cabinets were falling off and peeling. The floors were sticky in the kitchen, there were crumbs everywhere that lead ants all over. We checked in which was easy, kind of a pain to have to turn both door...

"Half of the amenities that made it any different from a hotel or a rental that’s 60 cheaper isn’t there. It was a flat out lie. There was no “kitchenette”, walls with weird stains on them, strange smelling bath towels, no shower curtain, and an AC that wouldn't adjust. The site claimed there was a communal pool in the amenities but when we get there and see the pool, it was dirty and unavailable to swim in which was the main reason we booked in the first place. "We loved this hideaway! Very spacious, super clean, well stocked, quiet, safe and private was our experience. Enjoyed looking out the many windows to see dozens of deer calmly grazing and ducks roosting near by. Just 11 minutes from the Brazos River State park which is a must see. Relaxed on the front and back porches. A really nice get away. Would definitely stay here again without question. Sure beats the city traffic, hotel elevators and crowded parking lots. Thanks!"
