"Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River. Even my barely mobile 84 year-old mother-in-law could get down to the beach to watch us kayak and swim. My only tiny complaint is that the knives in the kitchen were almost too dull to use,...

"The house was absolutely gorgeous! The proximity to the beach was also a big plus. It's very close to the Redwoods National Park made this a great stay as well. Overall an amazing place and a very homey environment. If we get the chance we would stay again!"

"We loved the layout of the house with the master suite at one end, the bunkbed room right off the kitchen and then the other two bedrooms at the other end of house; sharing a bath – esp. the two sinks.The swing set and fire pit were marvelous….we spent our evenings outsideThere was enough sitting for everyone at dinner time and then to watch for the Oregon football game.It was excellent."

"Cute little apartment, in a safe lovely neighborhood. I stay in Crescent City regularly for business and family trips, but this was a solo trip without my kids. I dislike the hotels in town so checked out this place. It was indeed a little Hideout. Cute cabin decor, kitchenette, living room where I could have a glass of wine with my family in town. The bedroom was large with a very comfortable bed. The grounds were wonderfully country with the requisite chickens, ducks and cat....

"Perfect home base for visiting the Redwoods and beaches. Very comfortable recliners in front of the big windows. Nice couch seating to watch TV. Comfortable beds. Everything was great. "My now wife and I had the pressure of staying at Gary's cabin located in the White Rock Resort. We chose this property to stay for our elopement, and we could not be happier with our decision. Cosmetically the place could be touched up in spots, however that does not take away from the absolutely gorgeous views and natural light. "This house is so cute & cozy! It was one of those properties where you feel like you're staying at a friend's or family member's home; comfortable.....not stuffy or stressful with too many fragile knickknacks & strict rules! We loved the back porch for dinner and the hanging swings for reading & coffee. The place is well stocked so you don't have to run out for every little thing. My daughters loved the provided cookies & q-tips, haha! Very comfy beds with soft sheets. "

"We have stayed here on multiple occasions and each time we have had a pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable for us, we were able to get a good night’s rest after a few hours of driving. Plus the complimentary breakfast was really nice to have before leaving the next day. Staff was also very kind even when checking in late in the evening. We have made staying here our number one choice when in town. Thanks!"
