"The owner Phil welcomed us on the first day. He was totally amazing. The lodge was lovely. We were originally booked into Willow but had to change to Briar as there was a flood in Willow before we arrived. Dee Dee ensured we still had use of the hot tub which was lovely. The swimming pool is very large and you can book alone time in there which is nice. Excellent breakfast . Love the lodges in forest setting. So lovely. Nice fixtures and fittings. "Just returned from a weekend stay with my boyfriend and it was just perfect from start to finish. Lots of free parking and huge outdoor areas to explore. We had such a warm welcome by Karen on Reception. Our room was fantastic, a super size bed with a lovely balcony, a huge bathroom with bath and walk in shower. It was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was good with all the options you’d expect from a cooked breakfast to continental. We used the spa facilities which were fab and not too...
