"I had a very disappointing experience with Novotel Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. I made a reservation through Expedia on June 9, 2026, for one night 6/15 for two guests and paid in full well in advance. When we arrived at approximately 2:00 PM after our flight, the front desk checked our passports and asked us to return at 3:00 PM for check-in. "Amazing property. I absolutely loved the beds which was firm but very comfortable. Upon entering the lobby, I was quite impressed with the ambiance and neatness. Rooms were very clean and well maintained. Only improvement I suggest is to increase the breakfast buffet options and improve food quality (especially scrambled eggs). Everything else was great."

"Super close to train to Schiphol and Amsterdam Centraal. Breakfast was an amazing selection of hot and cold servings. Cool coffee machines actually ground the beans with every pour. Room was top notch, great shower, clean. Gym included. Town of Hoofddorp was nearby with large shopping mall. Restaurants close by too. Seems to be popular among tourist groups, so anticipate morning crowds at breakfast, but, don’t let that change your mind about booking. Oh, and a good price, too."

The staff did their jobs well but they weren't personable or concerned about any issues that came up. Getting service at the front desk or bar area was like pulling teeth."

"Why do we have to go through all the registration procedure entering data ourselves manually after having given all the info when booking? The room had a bed a shower (of sorts) and a toilet that was hard to access due to space restrictions - a narrower corridor or turning the toilet 90 degrees would make it so much easier. No tea/coffee or drinking water facilities is very poor. This was booked as more than the most basic facilities in Amsterdam....."
