The cabin is as close to the water as you can get; making the hot tub even more relaxing looking directly at mountains and Hudson River. "The four of us thought the house was very comfortable and well-appointed. The bathroom and shower were very nice! The kitchen had everything we needed to fix a big family dinner! We found the location of the house to be convenient to Broadway and the Farmer’s Market and the Skidmore campus. I highly recommend this property and the owners couldn’t be more friendly!!"

"What an outstanding location! So close to downtown but just a couple blocks away so you get some quiet at night. The home is beautiful - an old Victorian with ample space for the three of us. It never felt crowded and had all the amenities needed for a wonderful trip. The host was so kind and allowed us to bring our old dog. Just a wonderful experience. "

"Our family for stayed for half a week and had a great time. The unit was very clean and had all of the linen and pillows we needed. We did not cook here but all of the usual items for the kitchen looked like we certainly could have. The communication with the owner was fantastic and answered all of our questions immediately. The lake was an added bonus for us. We would definitely stay here again."

"We had a great stay over the Thanksgiving Holiday. The indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit and plenty of firewood were a plus. Views of the lake were beautiful along with the dusting of snow during our stay. The hosts were very helpful and accomodating. I would definitely stay for another visit."
