"Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff were great especially Lorraine, who gave us a great welcome to the hotel and gave my wife a picture of Elvis when we left, because my wife was wearing an Elvis t-shirt. Lots of veggie options on the breakfast menu. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice to have a bath in room 1."

"Stayed for 4 nights in a while, in one of the smaller double rooms (6). Clean & tidy albeit a bit quirky in a building 300 years old or so. Pleasant hosts Chris & Sue plus other staff with good range of breakfast options tried, always well cooked. Only slight blemish was a crack in the on-suite sink & toilet seat sloppy. Other than that all very good, including improved parking to rear in designated area."

"I stood at this family guesthouse for four nights when travelling on business in the area during May-June. The rooms are all upstairs, tidy neat, well-lighted and nicely decorated. You enter by their restaurant which, by the way, has very tasty seafood platters every day made by chef Steve, who also prepares an excellent English breakfast every morning. "Great room with sea view, sun rise and sun set fabulous. Breakfast good. Bit of an incline to go into Lynton from hotel. Terrace nice to have a drink and watch the world go by. Sea, rock faces, colours and very grateful for the breeze."

"The key was collected from the shop serving the petrol station which I didn’t know at the time. There is a Greggs and Subway which is very handy for food etc. also the garage station is a Londis which sells items as well. The actual rooms are located behind the building of Greggs and Subway hidden away from the main public area and road. My room was clean and the bathroom was clean and functional. Unfortunately the Roman blinds at the windows you couldn’t open and close which doesn’t...

"We have stayed here a couple of times and been made to feel very welcome. Aaron was a great host and the customer service from everyone working there that we had contact with was excellent. The breakfast and evening meals were delicious, generous portions and represented good value. Overall, highly recommended."

"The staff were very helpful and accommodating, assisting with calling taxis and holding luggage. The included breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the only drawback was it ended at 9:00am. Our shared family room was a nice size with two televisions and good wifi but in the height of summer it got a little warm. The location is beautiful and relaxing."
