"My husband and I were looking for a secluded place on water with canoeing, fishing and walking distance to a bar/restaurant. This was perfect! The water was not for swimming but the cabin came stocked with a kayak, canoe, row boat and a paddle boat. The main house was perfect for what we needed - bed to sleep, deck to sit on with our coffee and fully stocked with kitchen, bedding needs. "It was a quiet and relaxing place. Birds were migrating, the first weekend in April. It was a little muddy, so bring your mud boots, binoculars and field book is required."

"The highlight of our stay was the pool. Two families stayed here for our spring break with 5 kids (ages 16, 14, 14, 11 and 11). Everyday the kids were enjoying the pool. We did have a snowstorm while we were there that caused the power to flicker and internet to be spotty. We had to shovel the drive/front steps ourselves. Good stay overall and we would recommend to others."

"We booked this property to celebrate my husband's 30th birthday with some friends. We loved the privacy out in nature and enjoyed sightings of deer and turtles during our stay. Our hosts provided all amenities we could ever want, including kayaks and SUPs, and each person/couple was able to have their own bed. We had a wonderful time."

"My one daughter and grandson couldn’t come, but my other daughter and her husband had a great time. The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed to make a nice meal and eat it. The living room had comfortable chairs, and enough room for a family. I really enjoyed my stay."

"Older home remodel, new windows and appliances. Lower unit very nice two bedrooms, two baths with it own livingroom. Very narrow driveway but long and parking for 5 or 6 vehicles. Outside needed some work, basic cleaning, patio furniture not usable, grill very dirty and when we were there a large swarm of bees we had to deal with. But overall would stay again."

"Very clean, updated house. Host answered any questions i had right away. Home had everything we needed including towels, linens, pots & pans, wash & dryer and so much more. Short drive to town. Definitely will recommend and we hope to use one of his properties again."

"The house was great. Very spacious. The only issue we had was the listing says 6 bedrooms, but two of those rooms were not bedrooms. One was a billiard room with a bar that we placed matresses down on the floor. The other had a section sofa some of the kids slept on for the weekend. This was nothing major for us. One of the showers didn't drain after being used the first time which made showering with 15 people in one shower a little bit of hassle. There was nothing else that really made the...
