"We arrived after 5 pm on our arrival date and the room wasn't ready. We stood in the hallway for approximately a half hour while they got the room ready and it seemed like a rush job."

It looked nice and new but then the TV didn’t work, the internet didn’t work, the stove top in the efficiency didn’t work, the hot water in the kitchen didn’t work, the dish washer leaked all over the floor, the free breakfast was missing the first morning except a long line of 25 people getting waffles and the second morning slim pickings with an even longer line for waffles from people making six waffles each and taking literally 25 sausages on one plate. "Staying in a refurbished Lighthouse was unique experience. The rooms are essentially pie shaped with an inviting beach theme. The bed was very comfortable and I loved having 6 full sized pillows. Our fridge was stocked every morning with fruit, OJ, complimentary muffins, and yogurt. There were also various beverages and water. There was a keurig in the room as well as at the coffee bar in the Common room. Outside the Common room is a long porch which faced the bay, and was wonderful to relax...

"Pros: Cute hotel. Close to the beach/boardwalk. Very convenient. Staff were friendly. Cons: walls are paper thin, ants everywhere in the rooms. Even if you keep everything sealed and cleaned. Pool was a little dirty as well."

"They have upgraded the rooms since our stay last year, and it is so very nice. Everything was good with our stay..clean room, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the parking was easily accessible. Look forward to our next stay at Bay Resort."
