"This is a good bargain stay, just be mindful of the surrounding neighborhoods as some are more safe than others. We really liked that there were tons of bodegas to grab quick bites to eat, easy access to bus and subway, and the customer service was great!"

"So disappointing to find out that the shuttle was completely useless to us. They only drop off to some locations some times. There is definitely a lack of communication on that. We had to pay an uber every time. Disappointed! We did better staying in Manhattan and riding the bus to the Corona Park area."

"I come to New York around this time annually to go to the Hip Hop Ed Conference. I choose to stay at Opera House instead of a closer hotel because of the beauty of the hotel and how nice the staff is. Zue is usually who I'm greeted by year after year and she is kind and knowledgeable. Give that lady a raise! I'll be back next year!"

"The property was clean, well appointed, just what we needed. Our suite had a microwave, dishes, silverware, cups and mugs and a toaster. We were able to make allergy friendly breakfasts and lunches which saved us. The property is about a 10 minute walk to the subway which was good during the day, but I wouldn’t do that in the evening. "They had lotion, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The staff was 24/7 which made me feel safe and they were very friendly and helpful. The queensboro plaza train station is super close and walkable so it made it super easy to get around. I would stay here again. I felt uneasy by the patio but that’s because it looked different than what I’m used to so I didn’t spend as much time out there as I thought I would"
