Trying to check in and no one was at front desk. Had to wait. Got to room and used the bathroom facilities for a few minutes and then we had no water at all. Tried calling front desk many times. Gave up and went down there and found no one again. Waited and when the clerk finally arrived asked why there was no water he said there was a problem in the whole building and no one had water. It would probably be that way til the next morning but a woman who came to the desk who worked there said it would be 10 minutes. Bottom line, no water. Went to sleep at that point, used the bathroom for bodily functions and in the morning there still was no water. Breakfast was supposedly part of the package and they handed you a bag with snack items in them. Easy message, stay away from this place.

Room was clean. Staff was great and friendly. Shuttle from and back to airport was amazing. The only bad part was it was extremely loud all night from the traffic and airplanes. It seemed like the walls and windows were very thin. Convenient to airport

The pricing is mostly due to the super convenience of being so close to the airport and the bus stop to the metro is less than 3mins walking distance. Now, don’t get fooled by the free breakfast because is a lovely diabetic starter snack. However is appreciated to have very cold water at the lobby to re fill your water bottles. I just felt uncomfortable of how the employees were talking about each other with me. That really made me feel uncomfortable. There is a FedEx parking structure, and as a female I voided to walk around it in the evening. If you need something within 5mins to airport and has a hot shower, then this is the place. Otherwise, down over pay. Lastly, the lest night there were some crazy people down the hallway and eve though I reported them to the front desk, nothing was done. I eventually got tired and the exhaustion made me fall asleep.

The property provided what was needed didnt expected much. The grab and and go breakfast was convenient. Parking was tight but at least it was available. Restaurant and shopping malls are near by either you can walk to explore the area or drive to the destination. The morning shift lady that work the front desk was helpful and cool. Fyi for light sleepers the airplane will wake distribut your sleep since it flies low due to it landing since it is near the airport. Besides that good location and shuttle services are available if needed.

Rooms are small. You can't move around much. I can't sleep at night because the rooms and windows aren't soundproof. You can hear all the planes landing and taking off from the airport.

Although they have an airport shuttle it only runs for a few hours a day so before you book go to their website and see when they're shuttle hours are. Also, Expedia dropped the ball on this one by not posting those shuttle times on their website!

I needed to get a flight and come back in the same day so it was an advantage to have a free shuttle to go back and forth to LGA airport. Room was very clean and comfy. Breakfast to grab and go was simple but it make sense when most of people are rushing to leave and get into an airplane. In general a great option if you are doing business or need to stay around that area.

After our flight home was cancelled, we needed another hotel at the last minute. We were able to get a room at the Avion. It was close to LaGuardia and very reasonably priced. The room was a little cramped and difficult to move around, especially for my disabled husband. But, it served our purpose of a place to sleep while we spent another night in NYC. They offer a free grab and go breakfast, which consisted of a granola bar, a prepackaged pastry, a room-temp bottle of apple juice, and a piece of fruit. There is a few shuttle that goes to the airport every half hour in the morning and evening. It could have been cleaner. I found dirt and some small broken hair elastics in the corners of the bathroom floor. It was also very loud with traffic noise. But as I said, it was a place to sleep at a reasonable price.

The area around the hotel is terrifying, but the hotel is terrific! Stayed here due to cancelled flights and it was just great. Clean and cozy and quiet. Staff is great. Zero complaints (save for the area, but hey, not the hotel’s fault!)

Staff was vwry kind and helpful made up fornlack of surrounding areas to eat. Places around and bars on windows. Graffiti on walls if stores. I walked dkwn there at about 10:30 PM. No issues. Room was nice for the area, nice size also. Clean. Shuttle driver, a gentleman who moved back home from Houston, was pleasant and nice. Over all, i would stay here again.

I would like to get a full refund for this reservation. This property should be not allowed to operate as a hotel and I sure will be loosing it’s license soon. The location is fine and staff was friendly, but the property should not be run as a hotel. It was very dirty. The carpet was so filthy and dirty you can catch a disease just by looking at it. Beds and pillows were not comfortable at all. It barely had any support. But what made it very difficult to fall asleep are the noises from the landing planes. I’m not sure if windows have proper noise canceling features, but I was making sure they were shut and locked completely. Nonetheless we were able to hear planes lending every 5 to 7 minutes. And every time I would fall asleep, I would awoken by a very lound noise, like I am standing outside. It was another plane landing. And after a few of those I was unable to fall asleep at all.My daughter that was sleeping next to me would twitch her body every time the plane was right above our hotel. It felt almost like missiles were flying above us. It was more nerve recking and not relaxing at all! Forget about sleep. Only around 12:30am we were able to shut our eyes. That was not acceptable and very disappointing experience for us. $236 for the night like this at barely 1 star hotel is a extremely overpriced rate. We need a full refund for this please.
