No Pets Allowed. A gracious Park Hill home with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, hot tub and secluded gardens. From the moment you enclose yourself in the lovely surroundings you feel the special element of this home. The front enclosed garden greets and then entices you to sit, savor a cup of tea and the beautiful garden. The hot tub is nestled in a back yard gazebo for your enjoyment. Once inside the ambiance is unmistakabley influenced by the sea. A cozy fireplace, warms an accommodating living room with a full kitchen nearby. All three bedooms are beautifully decorated and have private garden views. Throughout this special home there are touches to remind you of the special gift that mother nature bestowed on Cambria. Just a short walk to Shamel Park and the magnificent Cambria ocean, a wonderful place to sequester yourself from the discordance of everyday life. 'A Gift from the Sea' will nurture your spirit and soothe your body, urging return voyages. Children are welcome, sorry no pets. Great place to stay with my family for a wedding weekend. Three bedrooms are a necessity with two teenage boys, and the master suite was perfect for us. Kitchen is adequately equipped to cook meals, which is helpful since Cambria rolls up its sidewalks early.Access to the nature preserve that takes you down to the cliffs above the ocean is literally across the street. Hot tub is an added bonus.Be aware that check in instructions are emailed to you at the time you book, from a management company, so check your spam folder. I booked three months in advance and was concerned that the day of our stay I hadn't received instructions, but the response from the management company was prompt, and we had no issues getting in.

Great location for this cute home. Loved the access to the Fiscalini Preserve. The home worked well for 3 generations, and the hot-tub was an added bonus. This is an older property, but it had everything we needed

Beach cottage

We enjoyed our stay in Cambria. The weather was picture perfect, the home had everything we needed and more! Loved being near the beach and the challenge of hiking up the hill. We will definitely be back !!

Great, affordable retreat!

This is a sweet rental with all the basics. It was clean and ready for us. Things are a little dated, and the beds were not the most comfortable. It could use some upgrades, but was also very affordable, which was nice. It has a short walk to the beach, but no real view from the house. Appreciated the easy check in and check out process as well.

Fun and relaxing stay

The house was in a beautiful friendly neighborhood. The nature park entrance is right across from the house with so many great trails to bike and walk! It was the first time in a long time we all got to see each other and it couldn’t have been a better location. Easy directions for check in and the house was well stocked and clean. Location is perfect for a family with too many beautiful beaches nearby to list.

Great location

The location of this property was nothing short of amazing. Nestled in a lovely part of Cambria, across the street from acres of trails that lead to pine forest and stunning ocean views. The house was spacious and had most everything we needed. The spa was a welcome haven for chilly afternoons. There were a few things that could use fixing- door knobs, light switches, toaster, and a fishy smelling microwave. Other than that the house was spacious and cozy. We had a great time!

Relaxing Hide-Away

Cozy place in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to trails and beach. Wonderful get away. Management extremely responsive, and helpful. Spa didn’t work the first night, so they had someone out the next morning to fix it! Small forewarning, the living room furniture has been well-loved and there is a bit of a musty smell to the home when you first enter - air it out and take your allergy meds! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!

A Gift From The Sea

This house is a nice size , a very hilly location, the rug in the living room needs cleaning or replacement. The furniture looks okay but sags when you sit down. There are lamps with burnt out bulbs. The stereo equipment needs to be replaced, it doesn't work. The barbeque worked well. We did not use the spa. Blow dryer was unusable , due to the fact that it has a European plug. Beds were comfortable, linens fine, pillows fine. Coffee maker was very slow to brew. All in all, a good home, needs updating in some areas.

Great Access to Fiscalini Ranch

The primary reason for booking a stay at “A Gift from the Sea” was because the house is on one level. The house is roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. It is a short drive to downtown Cambria or Moonstone Beach. For me, it was a bonus that access to Fiscalini Ranch is directly across the street.

Really nice house to stay in with kids or babies

We really enjoyed our stay in Cambria at A gift from the sea. The property management company made the check in and instructions so easy and smooth and gave us a gift bag of yummy snacks. When we arrived at the house the carbon monoxide detector was chirping nonstop at just about the time our baby was due for a nap.. . Luckily we have 3 of these at our home and my husband reset it quickly and so it was not an issue. The rooms were lovely and the heater worked very efficiently which is important to us with a baby. The other thing that was great was that the hall to the bedrooms has a door that closes. So we were able to close that door and the baby's room door and then watch TV and cook dinner without waking him up. The location was so convenient just a quick drive to the Chamel park and play the playground. Also very short drive into town or moonstone Beach. It is possible to walk to the park or the ranch preserve to hike but be aware that the hike back to the house would be a very steep uphill walk-not something my husband wanted to do with the stroller.
