The Briar Rose Retreat is a magnificent dual estate located in Downtown Breckenridge. With five luxurious bedrooms in the Main House and three more in the Cottage, this custom-built retreat brings grandeur to every touch. Soak in the large private hot tub après ski, shoot a game of pool, and relax in the Turkish steam bath. Stroll down to the BreckConnect Gondola for unbeatable ski, bike, or hiking access to the mountain. Luxury amenities include an outdoor gas firepit, large steam bath, yoga room, and impeccable views of the Ten Mile Mountain Range. Each home has its own BBQ grill, fully stocked chef's kitchen, and highspeed WiFi. The modern interior design is inviting and elegant. This multi-structure estate is ideal for large families or corporate retreats seeking luxury accommodations, with unparalleled access to the historic Main Street and the Breckenridge Ski Resort.
Main House –
The Main House is exquisitely decorated and spread over three levels. The primary level welcomes you with vaulted ceilings over the open concept living room, dining area, and chef's kitchen. The oversized kitchen island is a perfect gathering space to plan a day of outdoor activities over breakfast. There is seating for four, plus twelve more at the sleek dining room table. This dining area features incredible views of the ski slopes. Step through the sliding glass door to the sun terrace, which has a BBQ grill and outdoor seating, plus direct access to the lower level.
Back inside, take a book to the oversized leather lounge chair by the grand fireplace, which warms the area at the switch of a button. There is another large SmartTV with cable. There is another table with seating for six, so your guests staying in the Cottage can join you for dinner comfortably. The spacious foyer offers seating and storage for all your gear. There is also a thoughtfully decorated powder room. Past the hall is the primary master suite.
• Primary Master Bedroom - King bed, SmartTV, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, two vanities, and best of all, a built-in towel warmer.
Next up is the ultimate master suite, which sits on its own level upstairs -
• Top Level Master Bedroom - King bed, SmartTV, desk and chair, dressing mirror, huge closet, and en-suite bathroom with soaking tub, walk-in shower, double vanity, and a built-in towel warmer.
The lower level features three bedrooms, a spacious family room with a plush sectional sofa, a 55” SmartTV, a yoga room and study with a desk and chair, wet bar and small fridge, a Billiards table, and a card table. There is a large laundry room with plenty of plush robes, and another full bathroom with a luxurious steam room/walk-in shower. Take advantage of the home-style details, including board games, books, and even a guitar. The sliding glass door leads to the private hot tub and firepit circle, plus a bistro dining table with four chairs.
• Bedroom 3 - King bed, dresser, closet, SmartTV, lounging chair, and shared bathroom with Bedroom 4, with shower and tub combination.
• Bedroom 4 – two built-in Full beds with reading lights and closet.
• Bedroom 5 - two Full beds, SmartTV, closet.
Cottage –
The top level has three beds and a full bathroom, a perfect retreat for the kids. Come down the spiral staircase and past the lovely window seat. The two bedrooms on the main level are beautifully-decorated in pleasant shades of blue.
• Bedroom 1 – top level – two Twin beds, one Full bed, SmartTV on a dresser, plus a closet and a full bathroom with a shower and tub combination.
• Bedroom 2 – entry level – King bed, closet, and chair.
• Bedroom 3 – entry level – King bed, dresser, and closet. Adjacent to the bedroom is a full bathroom with a shower and tub combination.
On the entry level, there's plenty of comfortable seating in the living room, including an incredibly comfortable leather couch and loungers around a large SmartTV. There's also a minibar for evening cocktails. This space is open to the dining room, a lovely slab dining table with seating for 6, as well as the modern kitchen. The kitchen includes state of the art appliances and plenty of counterspace for preparing a family meal. This home brings in lots of natural light through numerous windows and a sliding glass door, which connects to the shared outdoor space with the Main House. Book the vacation of a lifetime in the unique and beloved Briar Rose Retreat!
We welcome reservations up to twelve months in advance. This home is not suitable for events, pets, or smoking. 4WD is recommended. The location is ideal for Downtown Main Street access in Breckenridge, and the BreckConnect Gondola, which is always free. The hot tub is serviced before your arrival, and all linens and towels are provided, including bathrobes. We're local and available if you need assistance or concierge.

The BreckConnect Gondola is located 700 yards away. Step out and down Briar Rose Ln, continue down on French St, then make a left right after the Blue River Bikeway.
During the shoulder seasons, the Main House may be a rental on its own, without the Cottage access included.
Occasionally in the winter, there may be an owner's car parked to the side of the lower driveway. There is still plenty of parking for guests.
There are 10 prints of "Inflammatory Essays" by Jenny Holzer in the living room, which guests may find controversial

On occasion during the shoulder seasons, we may consider renting the Main house (5 bedrooms) as a stand alone home; this would include the amenities but not the Cottage.

We provide enough supplies for a typical weekend stay. This includes paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap and a new sponge, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent for a few loads, hotel-style bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap, plus extra rolls of toilet paper per bathroom. We also provide fresh pressed linens, including all bed sheets and towels.

This home has a private hot tub, so extra towels for the hot tub are included. We take care of cleaning and servicing the tub before and after your stay.

This home is not pet-friendly.

We had a fantastic stay at this house! The location is ideal—just a short walk to downtown with easy access to great food, drinks, and local spots. The house itself was clean, spacious, and really well set up for a group. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and hang out, both inside and out.The amenities were top-notch—everything was thoughtfully stocked and made it feel like home. It worked great for our group and would be perfect for families or anyone traveling together. Would definitely stay here again!

Our home and guest house were clean, beautifully decorated, and well stocked. It had bedrooms for all sixteen of us to sleep comfortably. It had plenty of room for all of us to gather for meals and game time, including a pool table. Everyone really enjoyed the hot tub! It is centrally-located and close enough to town that you can walk to avoid having to parks downtown
