A Little Hidden Gem

Loved this place! Enjoyed a blissful week here, couldn’t ask for better. We could see macaws and other gorgeous birds flying around the property from their top deck that provides a great view of the sunsets. The pool was great, had it to ourselves just about every day. So peaceful if you’re looking to just chill and read and be away from all the activity and noise of the beach, especially on cruise ship days.The host and staff are warm, kind and so helpful with suggestions and bookings. The free breakfasts are huge and delicious with great variety, made fresh when you arrive to eat. The entire place is incredibly clean and well looked after. A very short 3 or 4 minute walk down to the beach and all the bars, shops and restaurants, including the Argentinian Grill which was great, located right next to Beachers as soon as you get to the beach. There’s also an “everything” store/ market right there beside Beachers that carries a bit of all you might need. There’s a great snorkelling area just down the beach a short way. Easy walk to West End for exploring shops and restaurants there and then we took a water taxi back for 5 each. West Bay Divers just down the street is great and they have nicer boats than most others which allows them to go to the farther dive sites. This review wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the two sweetest and most affectionate cats by the names of Gina & Carlita. Great fun chatting and hanging out with them around the pool.

Just as portrayed, easy and close to Beach

We spent a week at this delightful property. We enjoyed breakfast daily, friendly and helpful staff and the opportunity to visit with Myrna there guests. This was a great location near West Bay activity, but a couple of blocks off the beach on a gravel road which made this a quiet retreat. We loved the place and would certainly stay here again if we return to Roatán

Awesome Getaway

Our best bed and breakfast experience ever! The Seaside Inn was exactly as pictured in the photos. The covered deck provided a comfortable place to sit after getting our fill of sun at the beach or pool. The host, Jean-Noel, went way beyond all expectations to ensure our vacation was perfect. His breakfasts were something we looked forward to each morning. What a great way to start the day! Our suite was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We highly recommend staying at the Seaside Inn to fully enjoy and experience Roatan!

Exceptional in every way!

The property was better than advertised and exceptional in every way. The location is perfect and just a quick 2-minute walk to a beautiful beach, which is ideal because anything closer would have you bombarded with people and noise day and night. The owner has thought of everything by providing extras like beach towels, use of a washer/dryer, an ice machine, access to a kitchen and BBQ grill, pool/beach floats, loaner masks and snorkels, etc. The AC in the room was cool, the shower water was hot, the bottled water for drinking was plentiful, the kitchen included thoughtful extras like ziploc bags in addition to a microwave, coffee pot, hot plate, refrigerator (with freezer!), etc. The property is so clean and well kept. The staff is friendly. We felt very safe (and felt our valuables were safe) and well taken care of the entire time, and every recommendation from the owner was perfect. We appreciated her arranging transportation for us throughout the week, and all of her preferred drivers were great. If you want a peaceful retreat from the world, with easy access to the prettiest beach, then this is the place to stay. It's a better value than anything else we saw in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms, amazing breakfast, less than five min walk to the beach

Caroline is my host and she is very gracious. My room was kept clean . She makes yummy breakfast every day except Fridays. Convenient location. I had a wonderful time. Caroline helped me organizing my transportations and was great source of information about anything and everything about the island!

Just the break i needed....

This was my second stay... beautiful accommodations...2 minute walk to West Bay beach and if your not in the mood for sand, the pool is the perfect place to take a nap while enjoying the softness of the sound of the waterfall.... the entire property is very well maintained and the staff is well mannered, well groomed, full of island knowledge and eager to serve..... as is the owner, Carolyn Belfor.... the crepes are to die for...yummy.....i would definitely return.....
