"Wow a huge hotel with a lot of rooms. The service was excellent. Great eating in options. This hotel is on an island so you need to plan your day to get back on boat etc that only run every 30 mins. Given the amount of people this hotel can have there was a lot of noise at night and early in the morning."

"We booked a room with Bay view. That was the reason to choose this hotel. We got a non standard room with a side view of the Bay. I think many rooms have a side view of the Bay. Not worth the money"

"El hotel parece un 5 estrellas, nada de un 4 estrellas. Personal atento, nos cambiaron a una habitación superior porque mi mujer no coge ascensores y estábamos en el piso 11. Vistas increibles, cama y almohada cómoda. Cenamos en el comedor del hotel y la verdad que no fue excesivamente caro para ser Vietnam y cenamos bueno y abundante. El desayuno buffet muy variado, se me hace difícil encontrar alguna pega, igual que no hay muchos restaurantes por la zona, pero vamos que el hotel es...

"Excelente Hotel con una muy buena ubicación cerca del mercado, tiene un restaurante Japones muy rico y su desayuno también es muy bueno, la cama es muy recomendable, además en la recepción nos ofrecieron un tour muy bueno para ver todas las islas."

"On the Golden Halong website, it states the hotel has a spa, gym, tour desk, room service and bar. It has none of these. The staff speak minimal english, making it difficult to ask for advice on local attractions, restaurants or shopping. The location is terrible, no where near the marina that all the tour boats operate out of. Breakfast is geared towards Chinese and if you want hot food you need to get there at 0630 hours when it opens, however, you then need to contend with all the tour...
