"Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym. "

"Small but very clean and comfortable room. Hotel is undergoing construction so it wasn't in pristine condition. Parking in back was tight but available for $35/day. The location was fabulous. Walking distance to multiple stores, restaurants, theaters. Highly recommend."

"The room was generally clean, but the amenities were terrible. There was no shampoo, conditioner or body soap. There were reusable fillable containers that were empty.. We had no toilet paper. I had to ask for toilet paper and extra towels and we just made do with the one bar of soap we were given. The bed was fine. There is a refrigerator. The breakfast was awful. The coffee maker wasn’t working and then by the time they got it working it was basically Sanka/some powdered coffee mix. "

"The hotel was really nice and has a near by beach. It’s an hour away from the airport and 45 minutes from Boston. That is my only complaint. Salem is only 15 minutes and the drive there is so pretty."

"Had The best time; The room was a bit short on the clean side.. ie crumbs etc saw some ants BUT clean sheets, towels, furniture etc. it just seemed like the cleaner was in a rush, I just think someone missed the mark.
Location is 10/10. Property is amazing and everyone was friendly! Lots of amenities. Fireplace in the courtyard, lots of places for pictures! Parking is easy, and doors are accessible to the outside. Beds were comfy and it was mostly quiet! Seems they are putting up an...

Whenever im in Salem, this is my first choice. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and charming. The food options are incredible and worth the money spent.
I have never come across a staff member anywhere in the hotel that isnt polite and or helpful or courteous.
Well worth the money and experience. "

"We stayed here for 2 nights and it was good for the price we paid (less expensive than other hotels in the area). The room was very spacious, including a huge entryway. It was helpful to have that space to serve as a buffer to the noise outside in the hallway from the elevator and ice machine. The fridge in the room was large . The walls were paper thin though - we could hear everything coming from the room next door, including when we were in the bathroom (we could hear them using the toilet)....
