Apartment adjacent to University and student housing
We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of our New Zealand trip. We had 3 friends in their late 30’s that travel more than occasionally and don’t need 5-Star hotels to be comfortable.Pros:- very easy to drive to Auckland points of interest- fairly quiet neighborhood, even for being in the cityCons:- promised parking spot was inaccessible. We think the remote provided was not the correct one or the batteries were dead- while the host did respond to our messages, he did not seem to understand our issue (parking mentioned above) and didn’t provide a solution that worked- for the most part the place was clean, but we did find some areas that could have used more attentionThings to know:- the property is on a very steep incline and the parking garage and others in the area were also very steep. This wasn’t a huge issue for us, but good information if you have mobility issues or not as confident driving.
