"Everyone was absolutely lovely, even when i had issues with my reservation. The room was clean and the food was very good. I think there was a problem with the television in my room, and the mini fridge wasn't working well but overall it was very good. The street isn't the cleanest but that's not the hotel's fault. Just be aware of that."

"A gem of a place. Beautiful Victorian home decorated with exquisite taste. Mid December, it was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. Like a warm hug when you came through the door! Family run, everyone was welcoming & helpful. Breakfasts were truly excellent - try the banana & strawberry crepes made by Holly. Our room was spacious & we had a real fire, quite the treat. Tea & coffee available 24/7 in the lounge. We had a wonderful stay, hotel is very central for downtown - 15 minute walk...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at The Swiss Hotel. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. It was a smaller room, but perfect for my husband and I. The location is convenient, as it is right off Rideau St. The area can be a little rough, but the immediate area around the hotel was clean and felt safe at all hours of the day.
