"This is a sweet, lovely little hotel in the middle of the perfect neighborhood. Loved everything about it."

"There were bed bugs all over. I killed 4 different type of bugs in 3 minutes. I checked in and instantly checked out after this experience and had to find a new accommodation. Please save your money and do not book here! They weren’t even able to give me a refund because the office was non responsive. I had to walk up 5 flights of stairs with my bags, also a 15 min tram ride away but it doesn’t even matter because you should never stay here."

"I tried to change my booking to the same hotel chain at a different location but Expedia would not allow me to do this. We therefore had to spend considerable time and money traveling to the location we needed. Our room was on the fourth floor with a street view and very noisy. Was also very hot and no air conditioning in the room. The toilet broke on the last day and the staff were informed."

"Our room was lovely and when the front desk manager was there, they were helpful but was rare. We had an elevator issue due to a sensor and didn’t come up to get us. We took stairs which was ok but not ideal. The location was awesome and the big windows in room. The lobby is a little worn down."

"The location is excellent. There is no AC in the bedrooms, so if you are going in the summer, and are used to AC, it’s extremely uncomfortable. We had been placed in an outdoor room, away from the main building, and upon walking in, it felt like a furnace. We asked to switch, since we couldn’t cancel our reservation. We got placed in a cooler building on a lower level. It was a tad better, but slept with windows open and fan blowing at full speed. I will come back in fall and winter months, but...

"This hotel is walking distance from the major museums in the area, which is a great plus. The hotel staff was hit or miss. We noticed that there were only one to two receptionists behind the desk even though at times there was a long line of people who were waiting. The office was right next door and you can hear the others in there just hanging out."

"Wonderful staff, everyone was so friendly and it made for such a nice stay. The lift was handy (a rare find in Amsterdam), location was great, bed was really comfy and the place was kept really clean. Pretty affordable too for this city! I would stay again"

"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! The window was broken, but t wasn’t closing. Many amenities were not working. It was very dirty and noisy. Left the hotel next day. Still waiting for my refund."
