"This is a heritage building with lots of historical features saved. I have stayed a number of times and can see changes in the operation of this property. The staff are somewhat friendly but often speak to their front desk associates in another language while deciding what room to assign to you. "The Diner on the side of the hotel is good. The hotel staff was very helpful."

"The staff were very attentive and helpful. The site is going through an extensive reno right now, but staff tried their best to keep the site as functional and peaceful as possible. We asked for, and got, a large room with a kitchenette, but it put us at the end of the property near the driveway construction. The workers kept decent hours and we weren't bothered by them or by noise. The reno'd hotel will be fabulous when it's finished! Right on the river, too, with a lovely view. "

"Decent Hotel in a great location. You ski right from and to your door. Nice Hot Tub as well. "

"This was a nice little place to stay as I went through town, it was clean, the staff were accommodating, allowing me to use the ice room for a couple of hours after checkout. I didn't get an opportunity to see much of the property other than the room, but I did walk to the supermarket and store, and there were a few food choices within walking distance too."
