"The apartments are in a covered pedestrian shopping district, repurposed from a warehouse with very high ceilings. It is two levels with the bedroom loft over the downstairs. It is very roomy and surprisingly quiet. It is steps from public transport and the Food Hallen and the Ten Kate Street Market. It’s also 20-30 minutes walking distance to the museums and Vondelpark. "The apartment itself was excellent - very comfortable with lots of space. Location was great with some excellent restaurants nearby. A place called Do Belo was our favourite and within 5 minutes walk. Staff were brilliant, but the check in process was a bit complicated as we arrived after 8pm. We had to go to the sister hotel to pick up our room keys before going to the hotel itself. "Beautifuly decorated and comfy beds. Directly on the lake and friendly staff. Bring a gas cooker or one use bbq type thing for your meals or there are Restaurants or I saw a family with take away pizza. A little fridge, cutlery, plates and bowls supplied. Soft, fluffy towels, washing up things too. Supermarket 5 mins away. One needs to be used to being self-sufficient and down to earth. Fresh water tap around the corner, showers and toilets shared and regularly cleaned. Beautiful and peaceful....

"I'm coming from another country with bags then I discover that there is only stairs to take the bags and I have to take it by myself which is very hard for me.
