"The rooms were quite small for a twin room but still good. many room amenities were supplied, and near the concierge, they had single-use skincare and grooming sets for guests to take. the hotel was very clean and had two working lifts. each floor has a vending machine and microwave. the area is nice but, maybe for just us, a bit loud at night. The connections are great, you can take the midosuji (red) line at nishinakajima-minamigata station, and you have a direct connection to Osaka station...

"Compact room, we stayed in the basic one: but it had everything we needed, as we did two day trips we just needed the room to sleep. And this hotel, best part is the location - as on both days, we were able to go from Room to Shinkansen in 5 mins. Perfect location if you are using Shin Osaka station. Wish, I could have continued, but had made a separate reservation in Central Osaka. "

"This hotel is unrivalled value for money; providing all facilities required for a traveller, including free parking and inclusive breakfast. The only downside for a soft European like me, a characteristic of all Toyoko Inns I've stayed in, is an overly hard bed."

"Astil is a quiet and very comfortable hotel.
Very close to train station. Note that you shall take the local train. The others do not stop.
For Kyoto and Kobe you go one stop to Juso sration and transfer.
The best way to go from airports is airportbus to Umeda and then train.
The rooms do not have bathtubes since the hotel has a nice onsen bath. If you like med do have tattos you are not able to use the bath.
That is common practice in Japan and has nothing to do with the hotel.
