"The property is older but full of great charm. Staff is friendly and absolutely accommodating. Construction was going on at the street but didn’t impact our ability to get around. Would definitely stay again! So close to Forbidden City and Wangfujing. There is a reason they are so highly rated!!!"

"Booked a corner room for a week, because I like it as I saw it on YT. Was upgraded to bigger room, with separated living room, but asked to have the corner room. I really like the corner room and I think it was the right decision to choose this one. The room is super nice with a good view on Beijing (view on the Peninsula Hotel). Rest of there hotel room was as you expect it. Super nice and comfy bed, awesome bathroom spacious rooms. Hotel is in an excellent location. 2 min walk to Wangfujing...

"It was a pleasure staying at this lovely little hotel. Shirley and the other girls at the concierge were so friendly and made me feel at home. The property is gorgeous, the attention to the guests is unbelievable and the hutong itself is nice and safe. I am so happy I found this property, such a heaven in busy Beijing. I ill surely be back. "This is very great hotel with culture elements of Beijing Hutong. Super clean, special and quiet. The staffs are very nice. My overall feeling is just like at home. Life is easy to stay here, a lot of good restaurants could be found around the hotel and short way to metro station. The environment is so safe that we can eat out by the hotel at 11:00pm without any safety concern. Anyway, very strong recommendation for staying here."

"If this is in your budget, I highly recommend staying here. It’s an apartment suite two or three times the size of a regular hotel. I initially book a hotel nearby but for $70 less, the service and quality was night and day. I never cancel bookings on the day of but I had to swap to this one because I couldn’t believe the deal. "I often stay at luxury hotels, but I’ve never seen a hotel and room quite like this one. It’s rich in traditional Beijing architectural culture. The room is clean and full of character. The staff are extremely friendly. Everyone is working diligently and professionally. There’s none of the toxic tipping culture you find in the US. The afternoon tea and breakfast are also very fresh. The price is reasonable. Highly recommended!"

"Perfect centrally located hotel for exploring Beijing. Loads of restaurants within walking distance, also great for hotel pickups when doing tours. Breakfast was good with good choice, we had breakfast here most days and it kept us going until the evening.
